Mauritson ancestors first planted grapes in Dry Creek Valley in the 1880s, but they shipped what they produced back home to Sweden. Over the years the family became a major grower, with a total of more than four thousand acres of ranchland and vineyards; three-quarters of that land, however, is now under Lake Sonoma.
Both classic in its freshness and nuanced in its aromas and flavours. Lemon-lime zest, yellow peach, white magnolia blossom, and traces of wet stone waft from the glass. On the palate, complex flavours of candied grapefruit and honeydew rind give way to a finish that is clean and soft with balanced acidity.
