Clai ‘Ottocento’ Bijeli 2015

Istria, Croatia

Winemaker, Giorgio Clai follows the principles of biodynamic viticulture. His wines are made from organic grapes without the addition of selected yeasts and with minimum amount of sulphur. Wines from white grape varieties are produced in a traditional manner, leaving the skins in contact with the must during the fermentation.

White blend of Istrian Malvasia, Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Gris in an equal ratio.

Aromas of lemon curd, acacia blossoms, caramel and Clementine. It’s full and rich, almost sherry-like, orange and salty, with a little touch of barrel influence
