Valle D’Aosta, Italy
From Valle D’Aosta, though this medium bodied white isn’t labeled as such because there are no IGT designations outside of the main DOC in this region. Since this is a non-standard blend, the only alternative is to label it “Product of Italy”
This is a blend of prié blanc (the only native white variety of the region), müller thurgau, pinot bianco, pinot grigio and chardonnay grown on loose, sandy soils between 600-850m.
Dry, mineral. A juicy core of white peach, meadow honey, green apple, green fig and subtle honeyed melon.
