The best parcels of fruit from the Dixons Creek site were selected to make this wine, which was crushed into open top fermenters, left for an extended time on skins and matured for 18 months in French oak. Cellar for 5 to 8 years.
A classic Yarra Valley Cabernet. Displaying cassis and fresh blackcurrant fruit, subtle, spicy oak and long fine tannins add considerable structure to the palate.
